IUPUI Men's Soccer vs. UNC-Asheville: Recap

The IUPUI Men finally got the university's first athletic victory of the season after downing UNC-Asheville 3-1 in the UKIT (University of Kentucky Invitational Tournament) to start their 2010 campaign.

Tyler Keever started for the Jaguars and did a fantastic job against a barrage of shots, notching the majority of his saves in the second half. Jeff Keyler opened the scoring with his first collegiate goal (25'), chipping a shot over the keeper after a boot by Keever. Perez Agaba was able to score the game winner just two minutes later (27') and notch an insurance goal in the second half (48'). UNCA's only tally (78') came when Branden Lassen blasted a shot to the upper-90. Tyler Frichta played like he was possessed, firing six shots - equaling the rest of the squad combined.

IUPUI turns to University of Kentucky next. They will attempt to take down the host at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday.
