One of the reasons I came to IUPUI was because of Ron Hunter's dedication to making a difference in the community. Few people realize how important the world community is, that is until they hear that 300 MILLION students are without shoes. The Jags scheduled Oakland the first year of the Barefoot Game, followed by Centenary, and Oral Roberts last year.
Anyone wishing to bring a donation to the game, please bring new or slightly used shoes. Donations will more than likely be accepted, or you can go HERE to donate directly to Samaritan's Feet, the organization Ron Hunter is a part of. Just FIVE DOLLARS can help a child in need.
Remember, we all need to be a part of the process if we want to change the world. Be there to support much more than a basketball team!
