Key Matchup

Alex Young
vs
Nate Wolters
Though they may not match up on every possession, these two guys are absolutely key in the success or failure of each team. Both lead their teams in scoring, as well as several other statistics respectively. Each will have to push their team to victory in Brookings.

Keys To The Game

1) Don't Allow A Bunch Of Superhoops.
SDST loves shooting the ball from behind the arc every chance they get. The downfall of the Jaguars this year is teams hitting a ton of these shots without being equally matched by the dribble-penetration-loving Jaguars. They've got to keep the Jacks from hitting a lot of these shots and staying in the game late.

2) Drive The Ball Inside.
As IUPUI has been successful, they've done so inside. Since (and including) the last SDST game, IUPUI has shot over 52% from inside the arc in wins (5), but in their loss to UMKC they hit 46%. All six major time-earners can finish up and around anyone in the League, but it will be interesting to see how often they try. But they should...A lot.

3) Win.
SDST is one of two major, must-win games left on the schedule. Of course winning all of them would be the best option, however the teams that are closest to the Jags in the standings are absolutely necessary to maintaining the second seed for a second straight year.

4) 45% FG; 85% FT; 38% 3P.
