Game Preview, Game 11: Ohio University

IUPUI is set to play a much more manageable game in Ohio than their last match up with #2 Ohio State. Sunday at 2:00 pm, the Jaguars will play their return game at Ohio University, a pairing stemming from last year's game that was concluded by a thrilling buzzer-beater by OU's Armon Bassett. The game will be the second of six away from The Jungle, as IUPUI looks to get a game closer to .500 after suffering two consecutive losses to Oral Roberts and Ohio State.

Keys To The Game

1) Shut Down DJ Cooper.
Just like when IUPUI played Green Bay, Ohio boasts a great guard who creates for other guys and himself. I wouldn't be shocked to see another hilarious 4-man zone with Stephen chasing DJ around the entire game.

2) Play At An IUPUI Pace.
Ohio is the 76th 'fastest' team in the nation, averaging 72.8 possessions per 40 minutes, while IUPUI is hovering at 339th and 62.4 possessions per 40 minutes. Slowing the game down is better for the iso-style offense that the Jaguars are running this year.

3) Take The Students Out Of It.
Ohio is home to the famous O-Zone, one of the craziest, most brutally loud student groups in the entire nation. There shouldn't be a full house Sunday due to their quarter-system of classes (students are on break), but the ones that stuck around will be very loud. Quieting them will be an important aspect of victory.

4) 45% FG; 40% 3P; 75% FT.
